It was an absolute pleasure to attend the BBC Sport Connect: Women into Sport event today at MediaCity, Manchester.

Throughout the day, I attended several masterclasses and networking sessions which offered me a deeper understanding of what is truly required to work for the BBC and how I can break into the industry.

It was also an honour to speak to Emma Sanders and gain an insight into her many roles! as the BBC Senior Women’s Football News Reporter.
