It was a dream come true to report on an England Women’s fixture for the first time yesterday at the King Power Stadium.

While attending the Lionesses’ Euros send-off match against Jamaica, I documented my media experience and compiled it into the video above.

Pushing past my fears to film pre, half-time and post-match content in the press box was an extremely rewarding experience. Additionally, being surrounded by journalists of whose articles I regularly consume, and attending a Sarina Wiegman press conference was truly surreal.

The jubilant cheers from the crowd every time an England goal hit the back of the net, coupled with catching Michelle Agyemang and Alessia Russo after the game topped off a very special day🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

With the Lionesses now flying out to Switzerland, I can’t wait for their Euros title defence to commence! Here’s to hopefully another incredible summer💫
